The board of G.S.A.V. Vitalis is responsible for keeping the association running. Our board consists of six members, a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Sports Coordinator, Internal Coordinator and an External Coordinator. As board of Vitalis we are very commited to all aspects of the association, this year we aim to improve the solidarity, quality and name recognition of the association.
The six different board members all have their own responsibilities. The Chairman is responsible for all board-related tasks. The Secretary takes care of the membership administration, answers association related e-mails, and writes the minutes and the yearly secretary report. Our Treasurer is responsible to keep track of all finances of the association, and draws up the yearly budget. The Sports Coordinator is responsible for all sport-related activities within Vitalis. The Internal Coordinator serves as the primary contact for committees, and can take over the Chairman's tasks in case of his/her absence. The External Coordinator is responsible for the promotion of the association and takes care of all sponsor related activities. Moreover, the External Coordinator also ensures Vitalis' visibility during the KEI-week and organises the introduction period at Vitalis in September.
How much time does it take to be a part of the board? On average, 10-15 hours a week. Depending on the time of year, it can be either very busy or relatively calm. In addition, the time it takes also depends on which position you have within the board.
How often does the board meet? Approximately once every two weeks.
Which interests best suit the board? If you like leading the association and developing your management skills. Because every position within the board has different tasks, there is always a board position that suits your interests.
